For over a decade, God has placed a deep calling on my heart to support and empower new youth ministers—those who are called to guide and shepherd the next generation. As the Lord raises up new leaders for His ministry, the enemy works tirelessly to discourage and distract them, and I’ve seen firsthand how these leaders often feel overwhelmed, unprepared, and isolated in their roles. Too many passionate, capable leaders have burned out and walked away from their calling—not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked the support they needed to thrive.

A little about me:

I have served both denominational and non-denominational Christian churches and camps over the past 16 years, and I have witnessed countless lives changed through the transforming hope and love of Jesus Christ. Currently, I am serving as the Youth and Children’s Pastor at The Fellowship at Bend, in Bend, Oregon, and have held that position for seven years. I have a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, and then received specialized training through Youth Ministry Institute in my first two years of youth ministry. My desire to see young people’s heart changed by the gospel has only grown as I’ve continued to serve and disciple the youth of my community. I have seen the hurt and hopelessness that our young people are carrying on a daily basis be turned towards freedom and redemption in Christ. Our younger generations need Jesus, and they need people who care, who see them as they are, and will fight for them so they come to know their Father’s love and passion for them. My desire is to equip people who have said yes to the calling God has given them to pursue youth ministry a career, but don’t know where to start. My heart is to support and empower disciples who make disciples.
