Hi! I’m Truett.

With over 30 years of youth ministry experience, Truett has dedicated his life to building Christ-centered ministries and teams that impact the next generation for Jesus. A passionate leader and mentor, Truett has faithfully served in churches and communities, creating spaces where young people can encounter God, grow in faith, and experience the mission field.

Known for bringing energy, joy, and authenticity, he loves connecting with people of all ages—and always finds a way to make ministry fun, engaging, and meaningful. Whether it’s leading camps, speaking at events, or simply sharing life with students, Truett believes that the best way to change the world is by investing our time and love into young people.

Through decades of ministry, he remains driven by a simple yet powerful mission: to build up the next generation of student pastors for Jesus, by helping them push through those first hard years of ministry, maybe for the first time! Truett’s greatest joy in ministry has been seeing many of his past students become disciples and pastors themselves.

  • I’ve had the privilege of working with children, youth, and parents in a wide variety of ministry and educational roles over the years. I’ve served as a full-time children’s pastor, youth pastor, family pastor, worship leader, and even spent time as an elementary school teacher. Each role has deepened my passion for helping the next generation grow in faith, character, and purpose. I hold a degree in Elementary Education and a Biblical Certificate from Colorado Christian University, and I continue to speak and lead worship at churches, camps, and events throughout Oregon, Colorado, and Arkansas. In my free time you’ll most likely find me outdoors—hiking or hitting the trails on my mountain bike.

    Currently, I run a faith based nonprofit called the Faith Based Network in Madras, Oregon. The Faith Based Network focuses on being the hands and feet of Jesus for those experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness. At FBN, they believe “Hope changes everything” which is the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
