This track is designed for those who sense a deep call to youth ministry but haven’t yet stepped into a formal ministry role. Over two years, we’ll walk alongside you—spiritually, personally, and professionally—as you discern and prepare for the ministry God is calling you into.

Through one-on-one coaching and intentional discipleship, you’ll grow in your relationship with Jesus, develop a heart for shepherding others, and gain the practical skills needed for ministry life. You’ll also receive guidance in building your resume, refining your calling, navigating the job search, and preparing for interviews—all while being equipped to live out the Gospel with confidence and authenticity wherever God leads.

And if you land a youth ministry role, your coach comes with you (yes — we stay invested).

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Key Components)

  • During this year, our primary focus will be:

    • Deep discipleship & spiritual formation
    • Ministry theory & philosophy
    • Self-assessment & spiritual gifts discovery
    • Intro to youth ministry tasks, shadowing, short project assignments

  • During year 2, we will focus on:

    • Resume & portfolio building
    • Networking with churches & ministry leaders
    • Mock interviews
    • Coaching toward job search & placement
    • Transition-to-hire plan

FAQ’s

  • Through God's grace alone, YMe provides its programming and support to individuals for a nominal fee of $50 per month, even though the actual cost of a single student's tuition is $350 per month. To keep expenses low for churches, YME relies on generous donors who believe in the mission of this ministry to contribute the remaining $300 per student each month.

    For individuals seeking coaching and partnership with Youth Ministry Empowered, but cannot afford the $50/month tuition fee, scholarships are available upon request.

  • Tuition includes 48 individualized virtual trainings, including book discussions, catered specifically toward the person’s strengths, growing edges, and goals that they want to achieve.

  • This track is designed for people who:

    • sense a call to serve youth long-term but don’t yet have a formal ministry job

    • may be finishing school (college, Bible school, seminary) or in a transitional stage

    • want to be more than “volunteers” in their local church — they want to be sharpened in their skills as they learn how to disciple and share the Gospel with others in an impactful way

  • YMe clients or churches can choose to pay monthly or annually. Clients who have signed up for YMe can choose to cancel at any time, but no payments will be returned or refunded.
